Leap!

1. We took the LEAP and sold Dan's car so we are now officially a One Car Family. We had only filled the car up about three times last year so we decided that we really don't need to hold onto it and pay the extra insurance.

2. We took the LEAP and took Jackson on his first camping trip Saturday night. There are no photos because we did not have time to take any in between chasing him around and trying to keep him in the campsite - he is SUCH a hiker...see.trail.must.go. The tent was a whole different story...the Kid would NOT sleep in the tent. He wasn't "that crying baby" in the state park, but he would not sleep. Would not, could not, in a tent...Would not, could not even if the rain fly had a vent... At one point, I woke up from a 5-minute doze (about the most sleep I got in a stretch) to find my son's finger all the way up my nose and him smiling above me. The kicker: it rained at 6am, right when we woke up and were fixing to get out and pack up before the Kid woke up (since he did finally fall asleep after a few hours of play).

3. We took the LEAP and got pregnant. Whooboy, is Jackson's world about to get turned upside down.

4. Jackson's sibling is expected around February 22, 2008. Did you know that '08 is a leap year? My first baby was a week late...LEAP?!

Holy moly! Congratulations on your big news. Sounds like you have another reason to break out the knitting needles. Jackson is adorable and I'm sure he'll make an excellent big brother.

Congrats!

-I was eight days shy of a leap year birth (on the 29th). I've known many people born in/around the date-- but have only one friend who actually was born on 2/29/1956.

The chances are slim-- especially for a second birth, but anything can happen!

Are you going to find out the baby's gender?

How exciting. I'm 2/25 it's a good week to be born. I know people with b-day 22 through 27 but know leaps. Of course I'm full of helpful advice on the pisces child if you want it. Daydreaming is a major occupation, don't let it freak you out.
Congrats!

Congratulations! That's so exciting. Jackson's world is about to be rocked hugely.

Grace was a Father's Day discovery, five years ago. An excellent Father's Day gift, I have to say. Heh.

Congrats on being a one-car family. I would love to go back to that someday.

Andrew's birthday is 2/27 - he was a week late.
Nick was born on his due date - so you never know what will happen.

Have fun knitting baby stuff.
