Don't know what to tell you...

Here I am. On the couch. Sipping my tea. Exhausted as all get-out.

My midwife appointment this morning was encouraging, but there's still no magic formula for determining exactly when this child will be born, so we are just...waiting.

Sister, what you need is some guided meditation and a foot massage. Barring that, I highly recommend glorious, fast-paced arias on the iPod and foot rubs from loved ones. (You can paint things on the pads of your feet ["push," "pull," "press," "rub," "tickle, and so on...] to encourage Jackson to help...)

You can also try reverse psychology: "No way I am having this baby this week! This belly is AWESOME for keeping my knitting in my "lap" and I am totally cleaning out my mental and emotional closets with all this free time. I think I might just hang on to this baby until she can jump straight out and into 6 month-old sizes as there are plenty of cute things in that size to knit..."

or something like that. ;)

Meanwhile, we all appreciate your updates!

Not that I want you to be pregnant for longer than you have to be, but my birthday is Friday... just sayin'!

Hugs to you all

Thanks for the update! Waiting stinks. But once Amelia comes it'll be worth it!!

Ah, the waiting is so hard. Take it easy and rest as much as you can - you have some hard work coming up soon!
