Sunday Fun

In case you were wondering, this baby does do more than sleep. This one is for Amelia's family members who can't be here to witness this fun in person.

We probably did too much today, because I'm much more physically tired today than I have been. But it was all worth it. We took Jackson and Amelia to church today for our first visit in a very long time. It was so wonderful to be surrounded by this community again and for Amelia to receive such a warm welcome from everyone there. It was a drag to be standing for over an hour with her in the sling after church, but visiting with friends was well worth it.
So, in an attempt to learn this lesson and "slow down," we went to our favorite coffeeshop to hang out, read books and let Jackson play in the toy room. It was relaxing and fun - and Grama and my aunts and uncles even stopped by for a visit while we were there - but Amelia had other plans. This awesome little eater decided to remind us of what an awesome little pooper she is too. Let's just say that my entire outfit, her entire outfit and quite a few accessories (burp cloths, nursing cover-up, sling) are in the wash. The little girl got her first bath at home tonight, though this was not previously on the agenda. Ah...the joys of parenting.
Jackson wanted me to take his photo today "for the blog too" so here he is having his breakfast (please excuse the open mouth with food, Dad!).
And this last one is for Eden, who can't get enough of cute baby feet.
Happy Sunday! We plan to do a whole lot of nothing tomorrow...
