We're heading north to Lake Superior this weekend and the rumor on the radio today was that the temp up there was only 66 degrees (F) in the middle of afternoon today. I lit up instantly at the thought of bringing woolly things along for chilly mornings; especially given that it's been in the high 80s/low 90s here lately and we've succumbed to our (my?) A/C addiction once again. (I don't love summer, I do love autumn. I definitely tend to jump the gun on this seasonal transition each year.)
Anyway, what do you think of my model in her EZ Baby Surprise Jacket? I think she's smashing! It's been too warm to wear her hand-knits yet, so this will be a first. (But at the rate she's already growing, I'm not so sure that she'll be wearing this one come apple-picking season!)

P.S. Thank you for your kind comments about the CF situation. We're glad to put it behind us!
P.P.S. Baby A is smiling now, but I've yet to capture a photo for the blogosphere. You should hear her coos and gurgles too! All we do is sit around making baby faces and cooing together these days. Jackson included - he likes that she says "glug."

Such a cute sweater! I hope you get a chance to snuggle into your warm stuff on your trip.
Amelia and her sweater are dear -- just dear. Thanks for sharing with us.
Such a cute baby! And intelligent, too! Although it's a bit early for her to be touting the joys of mulled Danish wine, a.k.a. Glogg (spelled with a letter not available on my keyboard in the middle...). She must have picked it up from the general Scandinavian vibe in Minnesota. Not particularly relevant yet, but impressive nonetheless. ;)
Love the baby surprise jacket on Amelia! I too love autumn... so much so in fact that my middle daughter is named Autumn. Cheers!
Your daughter looks just fantastic in her beautiful sweater. I am always amazed at how alert she seems in her pictures.

She looks adorable in her jacket!
I'm so happy for you that she doesn't have CF.
Have a great weekend :)
