Basic Rolled-Brim Hat from Knitting for Peace

I whipped up this hat for Amelia on the flight out to California last weekend but ran out of yarn near the top so it didn't get finished until last night. It was supposed to be her new winter hat for this year but it's much too big now so it'll just sit in the hats & mittens bin for a year or two. As you can see, it fits Jackson perfectly now. It would fall down over her eyes if she so much as ran a few steps too fast! I love it though. Bright and fun, just like my little girl!
(Why yes, I do have a child-sized hand print on my wall that I didn't notice until I took this photo. Oh well, thanks for being a good sport and modeling your sister's hat, Jackson!)

LOVE the colors in the hat and the loops/ties/bows on top. Cute!
