It seems like all I'm doing lately is knitting small things for these small children. It's fun and rewarding (especially when Jackson came home from school with his first wool hat absolutely drenched from playing in the dripping snow melt and I was able to knit a stand-in hat for him in just three hours) but I'm already looking forward to the next big sweater project. I already have the yarn and pattern for a sweater for me, but there is definitely a strong obligatory feeling when it comes to knitting for my kids first (especially when the cold really kicked in this week...I thought we had at least another month of fall before the chill!). I also have a pair of socks to knit for a friend, another hat for the homeless collection, Amelia's Christmas stocking... It's all good. :)

p.s. Yes, Dad, this is your year. Let's talk sweaters!
