I've seen the movie "My Fair Lady" about a gazillion times and know all the words to the songs and exactly what dresses Eliza Doolittle wears in each scene. I am happy to report that the stage production didn't disappoint and was exactly as I'd always remembered it to be--with the added bonus of live stage singing and dancing!
(I did have to remind my Mom not to sing at least once, but it was completely understandable since she adores song and dance numbers too and neither one of us could stop our feet from tapping!)
And what a small world...who do you think was standing behind me in line for coffee during intermission? My midwife! (I can't wait for my ultrasound tomorrow!)
Here's a video promo for the show we saw last night, so you can all get a taste of how "loverly" it was.

I would have paid good money to see Aunt Mary Catherine belt out a broadway number. Our moms are so alike, it's almost scary. By the way I watched Martha today, I didn't see you but I loved that you got to be blessed by such a fun trip.
