What is the meaning of this?

I baked big, soft ginger cookies today and was relishing taking a bite from the first one - fresh from the oven and still crispy outside and soft inside - when I noticed this on its underside:
A goldfish imprint. I checked the other cookies to see if they were similarly marked, but they were all goldfish-less. This one little cookie bore the mark of a goldfish (past tense, because of course I finished gobbling it up).

What does it mean? Does it mean that we're going to be visited by goldfish from outer-space who like ginger cookies? Does it mean that goldfish is god and we've been wrong all along? Does it mean, simply, that we've been out of goldfish for over a week now (since I finished reading "In Defense of Food" and can't bear to buy any more "foodlike" substances for my family) and Jackson's trying to tell me something?

Your thoughts, please! (Should I call the TV news stations? Too bad the evidence is already gone...)

Maybe it's related to it being Chinese New Year, somehow...

Don't call the media! Then you will have a bunch of goldfish worshippers telling you its a sign from Bob(their golfishy type alien leader)and they will confiscate the rest of your cookies!
It could happen...
