Baking, Boring and Boy Smell

Sorry, still here. Just had a particularly boring day and don't have much to say. "Still waiting around for this child and still trying to remind myself that we're not even at the due date yet" gets a little old.

I'll just show you a photo of my baking night this week instead:
That's two loaves of multigrain bread + two mini-loaves (Jackson loves his "baby bread" - makes for very cute grilled cheese sandwiches), one loaf of banana bread and four dozen chocolate chip cookies. Half of those cookies are in the freezer to bring along to the hospital and the other half are long gone...

I just kissed Jackson good night after a fun night of "playing at the mall" with Daddy (so Mommy could walk, inside, with bathrooms, again...) and was mildly horrified to discover that he smelled like the Abercrombie & Fitch cologne just from jumping around on the Reactrix game that is just outside the store. He didn't even go inside! I'm so not ready for my 2-year-old to smell like a teen.

Holy moly! All of that baking looks suspiciously like nesting activity... it's also making my mouth water. I work at a Junior High School and there are some days that I just gag on the cologne. Surprisingly, the girls seldom where perfume there. Oh, how things change.
