Sweet Dreams

Amelia has a knack for falling asleep wherever I lay her down, no matter what sounds are in the house and at the oddest times (I guess "naptime" is anytime a baby wants to sleep, right?). I thought we were going to play with Jackson for awhile this morning in his toy room (we'll discuss that word "his" when she's old enough to start calling it "hers") but when I came back from a two-second phone call, this is what I found. Oh well. What can you do but put a nice warm blanket over the babe and wish her sweet dreams?
This next photo is how we spent a majority of our afternoon yesterday (not pictured: Simon the Cat, though he was present most of the time too). Jackson adored having his sister on his bed and was excited to share his blanket with her (Mom and Dad are not allowed under the blanket with Jackson, so this is a big deal). Amelia is positively in love with her big brother and just gazed at him for the longest time. We might be on to something here...

Happy 3-month Birthday, Amelia!

Aww, I miss those days! My youngest had the knack for falling asleep anywhere- on the floor, out of the way, at playdates was the best. There could be 6 kids aged 2 and up running around whooping it up, and there he'd be, snoozing happily under the blanket he'd pulled over his face. Priceless!

And the snuggling with big brother- treasured moments! Love it!

A baby who sleeps easily is a treasure!

Your kids are so sweet, but that goes without saying. Where did you find those great alphabet sheets for Jackson? I love them!
