Not again...

Jackson and I spent the night at the hospital Saturday night when he went downhill super fast from a stomach bug. He was x-rayed, hooked up to an IV and given meds to soothe his tummy. This wasn't the first time for ER visits/overnighters at the hospital, as you may recall from this time and this time. It went relatively quickly for him though, and he's almost back to 100% now. He shared it with his Dear Old Mom for a brief interlude (yay for dads who can stay home from work so moms can stay in bed and just be sick) and it also hit his dad briefly last night (so much for staying home). So far, our Super Immunity Girl, Miss Amelia, has escaped bug-free and just spent the past few days laughing, running around the house with free-reign and trying to shove toys in our faces as we all laid about the house, unable to do more than sleep or merely blink our eyes. Tomorrow is a new day. A new day for me to pursue finding a new pediatrician's office with vigor so we can finally get some answers to these health mysteries for our boy. (Why is his outer defense shield immune system so rockin' that he barely ever gets the sniffles but when a bug does break through, the inner defense system just crumbles, sending him nosediving in a matter of hours? to name one...) Wishing you all good health! (And seriously, WASH YOUR HANDS!)

ugh. I am glad you're all feeling better. That stomach stuff IS. THE. WORST! We once all had it at the same time - oh the misery.

Not back to knitting! HA HA HA!
