FO Report: Another Poncho

Yarn: Punta Yarns Merisoft Hand Paint in color HP53, 100% merino, 490 yards used (about 2 1/2 skeins)
Pattern:
Knitting Pure and Simple Children's Poncho #243 by Diane Soucy

Needles:
US6
Size:
2-4
Started:
March 2010
Finished:
March 2010

This yarn is soft and luscious just like Malabrigo, so it was the perfect choice for Amelia’s second poncho (to replace her baby-sized Malabrigo one from last year). This is a no-brainer pattern and SO awesome for kids. Jackson still wears his poncho too, so they look like Hansel and Gretel as they walk down the sidewalk together! So sweet. (Sorry for the not-so-great shot of her in the poncho. It seems that she's turning into her brother in the "Idontwannabephotographed" attitude.)
(The photo below is from last November and was taken by my awesome photographer friend, Tami, at a local nature center. Can you even get over the cuteness?)

I do love your ponchos...and they were adorable in the photos we took last fall. You are so talented!

Such a cute photo of your kids and knitting. Love these kind of walking away pics for some reason.
